TASB Student Video Contest: Show How Your School Rocks!
The 2016–17 TASB Student Video Contest opensDecember 1. Don’t miss this opportunity to showcase your students’ creativity and share why your school rocks. First- and second-place prizes will be awarded in three categories: elementary, middle, and high school. First place wins $5,000, and second place receives $2,500 to be used in the students’ classroom or campus. Videos should be original works between 30 seconds and two minutes in length using the theme Texas Public Schools Rock! In the video, focus on what makes your school exceptional, why you love your school, how your school has earned the support of your community, why Texans stand up for public schools, and what makes Texas public schools the best choice. Feature live people, stills, animation — whatever you think best conveys your message. There is no entry fee for the contest; however, only one entry per campus is allowed. Entries will be accepted betweenDecember 1 and January 13. Winners will be announced in spring 2017. Learn more.
